At Rs 1,68,000, the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus is an expensive workbook with somewhat useful e-Ink display. In the ultra-notebook segment, the Asus ExpertBook B9 450F (review) offers a lot more at a smaller price, albeit without the secondary screen. The Dell XPS 13 is another capable notebook with excellent design and sleek performance. One might also consider the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition (review), which costs almost a third but delivers a comprehensive package for its price.

The ThinkBook Plus ushers in a new category of dual-screen notebooks. Putting a secondary screen on the lid of the ThinkBook Plus has its pros and cons – but I am glad that Lenovo is at least trying to be creative with notebook designs. Lenovo has to figure out how to make the e-Ink screen more productive for consumers like a senior marketing executive who is the target audience for ThinkBook Plus. If Lenovo manages to bring the Kindle app and Gmail support to the secondary e-Ink screen, it would make the ThinkBook Plus a compelling buy. Even without the e-Ink screen, the ThinkBook Plus is still a well-designed Windows 10 notebook with the premium build quality, exceptional keyboard and touchpad, and respectable performance.

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus может быть интересен для студентов, а также тех, кто часто посещает конференции или если работа связана с необходимостью составления презентаций, заметок и графиков. Установленный тут дополнительный e-Ink экран используется для чтения, кастомизации внешнего вида, просмотра уведомлений и заметок. Набор портов ввода и вывода для подключения ключевой периферии и внешнего монитора, стилус в комплекте. К минусам отнесем засветы по краям основного экрана.

One thing we didn’t really like is that it only has one USB Type-C port. Overall, the entire port selection is a bit modest (not as modest as the MacBooks, though), as it lacks an RJ-45 connector and an SD card reader, but what frustrates us the most is that the single USB Type-C port is used for charging. So, if you are charging your laptop, or ultimately want to get the maximum performance out of it, you can’t connect an external monitor or an eGPU.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is incredible. The rollable display and motor action feel incredibly solid, and I was never worried about them. You get a display that gives you a lot of extra screen real estate at the press of a button, and it all rolls up on the keyboard when you want portability. This is why PCs are awesome — because machines like this can exist for the people who want them. If you want a rollable laptop, this one delivers. Is this the right machine for the average laptop buyer? Of course not — the $3,300 price is both impressive for bleeding-edge first-of-its-kind product and above the average laptop buyer’s price range. Even if you do want to spend this much, you’ll have to consider the trade-offs — like less battery life compared to other Lunar Lake systems — and decide what you value. But it’s an awesome machine, and it works as well as I’d hoped.

I could only keep that upbeat attitude going for so long. The thought of my $3,300 laptop breaking is enough to have me roll up on my back with my legs and arms as erect as the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, like a cockroach about to croak.

Графические процессоры этой категории производительности справятся со многими играми, если не гнаться за максимальным разрешением и качеством картинки. Сравнительно умеренное энергопотребление таких GPU обеспечит увеличение времени автономной работы.

Intel UHD Graphics 620: Встраиваемый в центральные процессоры Intel Kaby Lake Refresh графический процессор (GT2, 24 вычислительных ядра). Встраивается в 15-ваттовые процессоры. Очень схож с графикой из прошлого поколения процессоров, Kaby Lake, по имени HD Graphics 620.
